Dudes! Ladies! What's up? Warped is amazing. It's been about a month or so and we're all a nasty shade of sun burn by now. All of us. Crazy happenings have happened, though. I mean, my girlfriend beat up a dude the other day? I missed it though. Anyway, I know I'm breakin the law by writing in thing twice in a row but someone's gotta do it and the rest of the dudes seem to turn computer stupid on tour, with the exception of hitting a play button...
So, the bus broke down the other night. It wasn't awesome. I woke up a good hour after we'd pulled out to a massive banging sort of sound. See, there's a process to this, I'm learning. This tour is literally the first time we've got to have a bus, so we're learning stuff. You sleep with your feet facing the front, in case of sudden lurching stops. Sometimes you brace yourself against the side of your bunk if you're driving through mountains or something. No number two on the bus. All pretty basic stuff. So the bus stops kinda slow, but the noise wakes me up and I sorta jump out of my bunk, but it's more like a roll and jump because you can't sit up and look around without smacking your head or something, aka, not good. So I stand up as the bus stops and I look around, making sure I'm not dead, and that no one else is dead, because the noise was a loud, you might die, sort of noise. Okay, no one's dead. Off to investigate. Driver's not in his seat, bus door is open. Maybe he's outside getting mauled by a moose. Wait, we're in America, there are no moose here. So I go out and by now the dudes are up and collectively, we're wtf-ing and wondering why we're no longer asleep in our tiny capsules. Then I see the pretty massive cloud of smoke coming from the front of the bus. Not cool. I'm still not sure what went wrong exactly, but thankfully, like I said earlier, there is a process to all of these things. You see, on Warped, it's standard that three buses at a time travel together, just in case things like last night happen. So it wasn't long before the Barclay bus pulled up behind us, along with another. Which band, I'm not sure. So we all trucked back onto the bus, gathered up whatever we thought we needed and split up, getting on whatever bus we could squeeze onto. So a couple of the other guys and I managed to find our way onto the Barclay bus, which is considerably less crowded since they only have their band, and a couple extra people. Some of those people are camera guys and stuff from MTV (I think...) though, so we pretty much spent the rest of the night with cameras in our faces. I'm pretty sure you'll see at least one of our asses on TV in the fall. But I'm not saying which one of us. You can guess. Hahah.
We got our bus back the next night, thankfully. Not that I don't like chillin with those dudes (and chicks) but having those cameras around is pretty gnarly.
